Happy New Year 2061 B.S.

We would like to thank all who contributed on making the First New Year Social Gathering a grand success. Our newly formed committee members are still working on sorting out the details of how to effectively bring cultural awareness about Nepal within the State of Minnesota and bring difference in the lives of Nepalis residing in the state. We are committed to our objectives. As we mature with time we promise more events and programs in the near future. Until then all we need is constant support from our members and friends. Please support ANMN by being a member.

Our New Year kick-off started with Basketball and Soccer tournaments. Both the tournaments finished with great enthusiasm and remarkable team efforts from all the participating teams. Congratulations to those who won, and those who lost we encourage you to come back next year. The statistics about the tournaments are given below:

We would also like to thank Pax Christi Catholic Community for providing us the hall for the event, Everest on Grand for providing delicious Nepali food and DJ Harkay for the sounds of Nepal that evening.

We are also thankful for all who contributed for Samrita Lohani. We were able to collect a total of $56. ANMN will put an additional $100 towards the contribution.
