Mark your calenders...for the ANMN Dashain/Tihar party 2008
October 25th, 2008 will be the day to celebrate this year's Dashain Tihar festivities in Minnesota. Besides dinner and activities for families and children, this year we have yet another exciting Nepali concert by a group of musicians led by our own Anish Sapkota. We hope you will join us all to spend a memorable evening with fellow Nepalese and friends in Minnesota.

Welcome to MN program 2008

In last several months, a huge number of Nepali families both from Nepal and Bhutanese refugee camps in Nepal have migrated to MN. Empower Nepali Women program under ANMN, Bhutanese Nepalese residing in MN and ENF on behalf of greater Nepali community organized a program called "Welcome to MN" on October 5th, 2008 to welcome them to MN. Nepali women professionals made presentations and answered questions in live interaction program to help newcomers adjust in MN.
The program was a great success. A large number of new arrivals attended the program and asked questions. There were also numerous volunteers who helped with transportation and also shared their experiences with the new arrivals.
The organizers of the program thanks everyone for participating and supporting the program.
